The Art Experience is more than just your regular, run-of-the-mill drawing and painting class.  At the Art Experience, expect to mix a bit of science with your art, experiment with mediums and techniques, get a little messy, build relationships, and actively interact with your art to create something truly wonderful and unique.  Art is about the energy you dedicate to the piece — at The Art Experience, I hope to inspire artistic energy to overflow in everyone.

We won’t tell you what to create, just help you bring your vision to life and make it amazing!

I started my career as an English and Special Education Literacy teacher in Harlem, New York, and, although I loved my role in the classroom, my love for art, and a lifelong dream of being a full-time artist pulled me out of the classroom. The time in the classroom provided me the creative outlet to dream up art-based projects that would both help boost literacy and also help my students fall in love with learning. It was these art-based lessons that became the foundation for starting the Art Experience.

It is a dream to now offer so many different experiences to all kinds of aspiring artists.
